•Select Home from any screen to return to the Home screen.

Manual Conventions

In this manual, when you are instructed to select an item, either press the soft key along the right side of the screen (GPSMAP 6000 series units) or use your finger to touch that item on the screen (GPSMAP 7000 series units) to select it. Small arrows (>) in the text indicate that you should select each item in order. For example, if you see “select Charts > Navigation Chart,” you should press the Charts soft key (GPSMAP 6000 series) or touch Charts (GPSMAP 7000 series), and then press or touch Navigation Chart.
