Front■Cartridge access port —Insert or remove cartridges through this port.
■Status LEDs — Provide information about various system functions. See
“Status LEDs” on page 30 for more information.
■LCD — Displays two lines of text with 16 characters per line. The LCD
displays actions, status information, menu items, and error messages, based
on the operating mode. See “The Operator’s Panel” on page 13 for more
information.
■Keypad — Press these buttons to perform various tasks in interaction mode.

■Power switch — Turns the autoloader and the enclosed tape drive off and
on. The switch is recessed into the front panel to prevent the autoloader
from being accidentally turned off during operation.
