Problems with the printer itself
Typical problems which are directly related to the printer include:
The printer is not available (there’s probably some error at the
printer; check the control panel to make sure that the printer is on
line and not displaying any error message).
Output is gray rather than black, or there’s nothing on the page at
all (the toner cartridge is almost empty or completely empty).
Random areas of the page are blank, or have marks on them (often
this means that the toner cartridge is damaged; try replacing it).
Detailed Troubleshooting
Your GCC printer is designed to perform smoothly and reliably. It
passed rigorous quality standards and tests before being shipped to you.
Despite these qualification standards, on rare occasions you may experi-
ence a problem with the printer’s operation. This section of the manual
is provided to help when a problem occurs. The following pages contain
