Destination enables you to send your document to the selected desktop printer, or to save it
to a PostScript file. Printer is the default.
If you choose PostScript®, the Print button changes to Save. Clicking the Save button
causes a Save dialog box appear:
Enter a location that you want your file saved to.
You can also select the fonts that should be saved with your document, using the Include
pop-up menu.
Note: Choosing the Non-Standard Fonts option includes all the fonts used in your docu-
ment except for printer-resident fonts. (See your User’s Manual for more information
about resident fonts.)
Quality enables you to choose an output resolution (in dots-per-inch) for your document.
The available resolutions will depend on the GCC printer model being used.
Other print panels
The Print dialog box also contains some other panels that are standard with QuickDraw
GX.
Print Time – This panel enables you to control when a document will be printed.
Paper Match – This panel enables you to redirect a document to another paper tray. It
also allows you to choose how the document should be adjusted (cropped, tiled, scaled) if
the paper in the selected tray is too small.
After choosing options, click:
Fewer Choices to return to the first level of the Print dialog box.
Cancel to close the Print dialog without saving any changes.
Print to print your document with the selected options.
