Desinfecte el sistema en el momento de instalación del sistema de Ósmosis Inversa y después de realizar servicio a las partes internas, incluyendo el reemplazo del pre-filtro, post-filtro y el cartucho de membrana.

Cerciórese de lavarse las manos antes de manipular las partes internas del sistema.

IMPORTANTE — Antes de la

desinfección, verifique que retiró todos los cartuchos. El cloro destruirá el cartucho de membrana de Ósmosis Inversa.

1.Siga los pasos del 1 al 4 en la sección Procedimiento de reemplazo del pre-filtro,post-filtro y cartucho de membrana del sistema de Ósmosis Inversa.

2.Llene el cartucho vacío marcado como “cartucho de desinfección” con agua hasta quedar a una pulgada de la abertura superior. Agregue 1 oz. (2 cucharadas) de blanqueador común sin aroma. Instale el cartucho en la posición del cartucho de pre-filtro girando hacia la derecha un tercio de giro aproximadamente, hasta que las marcas de alineación queden alineadas y el cartucho pare.

3.Instale los 2 cartuchos de desinfección adicionales en las aberturas en el colector para el cartucho de membrana y de post-filtro girando hacia

4.Abra la válvula de agua. Abra el grifo hasta que el agua empiece a fluir, luego cierre el grifo. Deje que el sistema se llene por 10 minutos.

5.Abra el grifo y deje que el agua fluya por

20 minutos o hasta que el olor a blanqueador desaparezca. Cierre el suministro de agua nuevamente. Abra el grifo para drenar el sistema.

6.Una vez que el sistema se drene, cierre el grifo y retire los cartuchos girando hacia la izquierda un tercio de giro aproximadamente. Guárdelos en lugar seguro hasta que los necesite nuevamente.
