Your hi-fi system has two timer modes:
The switch-on timer, which switches the hi-fi system on at the set
time and wakes you with the input source you selected.
– The sleep timer, which switches the hi-fi system off at a preset time.

Switch-on timer

Setting the switch-on timer
The time must be set on the hi-fi system. Timer settings can only be
performed in standby mode.
When this setting is being made, if no button is pushed for more than
10 seconds, the hi-fi system will end the process automatically. You
then have to start again.
1Press and hold down »TAPE « on the hi-fi system or »« on the
remote control.
– Display: »T 00:00«, the hours of the switch-on time flash.
2Enter the hours with »ß+« on the hi-fi system or »+« and
»« on the remote control and confirm with »TAPE « on the hi-
fi system or »« on the remote control.
– Display: for example, »T 06:00«, the minutes of the switch-on
time flash.
3Enter the minutes with »ß+« on the hi-fi system or »+« and
»« on the remote control and confirm with »TAPE « on the hi-
fi system or »« on the remote control.
– Display: »T OFF« flashes.
4Press »ß+« on the hi-fi system or »+« and »« on the
remote control to select from timer on, tuner, CD or timer off
TON«/»RADIO«/»CD«/»T OFF«) and confirm with »TAPE « on
the hi-fi system or »« on the remote control.
– Display: for »T ON« for example »RADIOZ«.
Note:
If you select the CD alarm input source, make sure you have in-
serted the appropriate medium.
Resetting the switch-on timer
1To alter the current timer setting, press and hold down »TAPE «
on the hi-fi system or »« on the remote control until »T 00:00«
appears in the display and the hours of the switch-on time flash.
