TIMER MODE----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your hi-ﬁ system has two timer modes:

–The switch-on timer, which switches the hi-ﬁ system on at the set time and wakes you with the input source you selected.

–The sleep timer, which switches the hi-ﬁ system oﬀ at a preset time.

The time must be set on the hi-ﬁ system. Timer settings can only be performed in standby mode.

When this setting is being made, if no button is pushed for more than 10 seconds, the hi-ﬁ system will end the process automatically. You then have to start again.

1Press and hold down »TAPE ≈« on the hi-ﬁ system or »≈« on the remote control.

– Display: »T 00:00«, the hours of the switch-on time ﬂash.

2Enter the hours with »– ß +« on the hi-ﬁ system or »+« and »–« on the remote control and conﬁrm with »TAPE ≈« on the hi- ﬁ system or »≈« on the remote control.

–Display: for example, »T 06:00«, the minutes of the switch-on time ﬂash.

3Enter the minutes with »– ß +« on the hi-ﬁ system or »+« and »–« on the remote control and conﬁrm with »TAPE ≈« on the hi- ﬁ system or »≈« on the remote control.

– Display: »T OFF« ﬂashes.

4Press »– ß +« on the hi-ﬁ system or »+« and »–« on the

remote control to select from timer on, tuner, CD or timer oﬀ (»T ON«/»RADIO«/»CD«/»T OFF«) and conﬁrm with »TAPE ≈« on the hi-ﬁ system or »≈« on the remote control.

– Display: for »T ON« for example »RADIOZ«.

Note:

If you select the CD alarm input source, make sure you have in- serted the appropriate medium.

Resetting the switch-on timer

1To alter the current timer setting, press and hold down »TAPE ≈« on the hi-ﬁ system or »≈« on the remote control until »T 00:00« appears in the display and the hours of the switch-on time ﬂash.
