1 paquete de 16 onzas (450 g) de

fresas congeladas en almíbar, ligeramente descongeladas

1 lata de 6 onzas (170 g) de limonada concentrada

1 taza (250 ml) de ron

2 tazas (500 ml) de hielo

Coloque todos los ingredientes en la licuadora. Tape y procese en la posición de Ice Breaker por 45 segundos o hasta que el hielo esté picado. Se obtienen 40 onzas (1,25 L).

Jugo de 16 limas

Coloque todos los ingredientes en el vaso de la licuadora. PULSE en la posición de Ice Breaker por 45 minutos o hasta que el hielo quede bien picado. Se obtienen 32 onzas (950 ml).

Omelette Mexicano

3 huevos

2 onzas (56 g) de queso Monterrey Jack o Pepper Jack

1 cucharada (15 ml) de agua o leche Sal y pimienta a gusto

Coloque todos los ingredientes en el vaso de la licuadora. Procese en “Grate” por unos 10 segundos. Sobre calor mediano, derrita un poco de margarina o mantequi- lla en una sartén. Vierta el omelette en la sartén. Cocine hasta que esté consistente y luego invierta y cocine hasta que esté hecho. Doble y sirva. Se obtiene 1 omelette.

Hummus

1 lata (19 onzas [535 g]) de garbanzos, con líquido

3 cucharadas (45 ml) de jugo de limón

2 cucharadas (30 ml) de tahini

1 cucharada (15 ml) de aceite de oliva 112 cucharaditas (7,5 ml) de ajo picado 1 cucharadita (5 ml) de comino

12 cucharadita (2,5 ml) de sal

Combine los siete ingredientes en el vaso de la licuadora. Licúe (BLEND) a la potencia alta. Apague la licuadora. Raspe los costados del vaso con una espátula. Encienda la licuadora y procese unos 30 segundos más hasta que quede uniforme. Pase la mezcla a una fuente. Sirva con tostadas de pan integral o triángulos de pan pita. Se obtienen unas 3 tazas (750 ml).

Mousse de crema de chocolate

1 cucharadita (5 ml) de vainilla

2 cucharadas (30 ml) de azúcar

1 taza (250 ml) de trozos pequeños de chocolate (mini-chocolate chips)

34 taza (175 ml) de leche

1 paquete (3 onzas [85 g]) de queso crema, cortado en cubitos

Coloque la vainilla, el azúcar y los trozos de chocolate en el vaso de la licuadora. Caliente la leche hasta que esté humeante. Vierta la leche en el vaso. Procese en “BLEND” por 15 segundos o hasta que esté uniforme. Agregue el queso crema y procese en “BLEND” por 10 segundos o hasta que quede uniforme. Vierta en platos de postre individuales y refrigere por lo menos 2 horas o hasta que esté consistente. Se obtienen entre 4 y 6 porciones.
