Makesurethemotioncontrolleversarelockedinthe
parkposition.Lifttheseatforward.
Thefollowingcomponentscanbeaccessedbyraising
theseat:
•Serialplate
•Servicedecal
•Seatadjustmentknob
•Fuellter
•Fuses
•Batterycables

AccessingtheEngine

Componentswillbehotifthemachinehas
beenrunning.Ifyoutouchhotcomponentsyou
maybeburned.
Allowthemachinetocoolbeforeperforming
maintenanceortouchingcomponentsunder
thehood.
1.Pullthebothoftheenginecoverretainerstraps
downandawayfromtheforwardfacingbendsin
thecoverrod(Figure26).

disengagethetabintherearofthecoverfromthe
engineguard.
