Figure 6.1 Loosen Refractory Retaining Strip
•The gas valve can be accessed behind the cement refractory panel on the right side of the fi replace. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the refractory retaining strip.

•Lift doors out and set aside. Remove the refractory side panel and set aside.

•Remove the inside valve access panel by lifting it up and out.

•Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the exterior valve access panel.

•Use a manometer on the lower out pressure tap. Start up the fi replace to verify the pressure and adjust as necessary. Reverse these steps to reassemble before log positioning.
