Troubleshooting Guide
Before asking for repair | check the following once again |

Symptom
No air blows out or power does not turn on
Smoke or smell is not efficiently removed, or there is an odor
Check to see
Is power plug securely inserted into AC outlet?
Is breaker switched off?
Is the

Are polarities of batteries correct?
Solution
Securely insert the power plug into AC outlet.
Switch on breaker.
Clean the
filter” in “Cleaning”.
Replace the filter, referring to the “Filter Replacement”. The filter may need to be replaced sooner depending on the place of installation and conditions of use.
Insert the batteries with correct
polarities.
No remote operation
Airflow rate does not decrease even though the air is clean
Airflow rate does not increase even though the air is contaminated
“Air Sensor” indicator is kept constantly lit in green
“Air Sensor” indicator is kept blinking in green.
No humidifying effect
Are batteries dead?
Is the remote infrared receiver dirty?
Is airflow rate switched?
Is the operation in the “Humidify” mode?
Is sensor sensitivity high?
Is airflow rate switched?
Is odor sensor hole blocked by dust or other obstacle?
Is sensor sensitivity low?
Was the ambient air clean when the purifier power cord was plugged into AC outlet?
Is the purifier installed in a place out of reach of odor?
Is odor sensor hole blocked by dust or other obstacle?
Is there anything nearby that the odor sensor might sense?
Any appliance generating combustion gas Alcohol, cosmetics, sprays, etc.
Is odor sensor hole blocked by dust or other obstacle?
Is there water in the water tank?
Is the operation in any of the “Air Purify”, “Pollen” or “Strong Deodorization” mode?
Is the humidifying filter dirty?
Replace the batteries. |

Press the airflow button and select auto or other airflow rate.

Change the airflow rate. Or open a window and plug the power cord into AC outlet when ambient air is clean.
Relocate the air purifier.

Purifier may sense invisible gas component that cannot be cleaned by filter and continue operation. Ventilate the room by opening window, etc.
Clean the odor sensor.
Fill the water tank with water.
Change the operation mode to the “Humidify” or “Skin Moisturize” mode.
Clean or replace the humidifying filter, referring to the “Humidifying Filter” in “Cleaning”.
