Pocket Word

Pocket Word works with Microsoft®Word on your computer, providing easy access to copies of documents. You can also create new documents on your device or copy documents from your computer.

⬛To create a new file, tap , Programs, Pocket Word, and then New. Or, from the Today screen, tap New, then Word Document. Only one document can be opened at a time; when you open a second you will have to save the first. Documents can be saved in a variety of formats including Word (.doc), Pocket Word (.psw), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and Plain Text (.txt).

Pocket Word contains a list of stored files. Tap a file to open it, and tap and hold to delete, make copies of, or send it from the pop-up menu.

▶Tap Name to change the sort order of the list.

▶Tap All Folders to select the type of folder you want displayed in the list.

▶Tap New to create a new document.

▶Tap on a document name to open the document.

▶Tap and hold an item to see a pop-up menu of actions.

You can enter information in Pocket Word in one of four modes (typing, writing, drawing, and recording), which are displayed on the View menu.
