OPERATION
AC Parallel Operation Applications
Follow the instructions included with the parallel operationcable k it.
Before connecting an appliance or power cord to the generator:
Make sure that it is in good working order.A faulty appliance or
power cord can create a potential for electricalshock.
If an appliance begins to operate abnormally, becomes sluggish, or
stops suddenly, turn it off immediately. Disconnect the appliance,
and determine whether theproblem is the appliance or the rated
load capacity of the generator has been exceeded.
Make sure that the combined electricalrating of the tools or
appliances do not exceed that of the generator. Neverexceed the
maximum power rating of the generator. Power levels between
rated and maximummay be used for no more than 30 minutes.
Never connect different generator models.
Use only a Honda approved parallel operation kit(optional
equipment) when connecting two EU3000i generators for parallel
operation.
Never connect or removethe parallel operation cable when the
generator is running.
For single generator operation,the parallel operation cable must be
removed.
Substantial overloading that continuously lights the overload indicator
(red) may damage the generator.Marginal overloading that
temporarily lights the overload indicator (red)may shorten the service
life of the generator.
