OPERATION
Special Requirements
Do not lay the generator on its side when moving, storing,or
operating it. Oil may leak and damage theengine or your property.
There may be Federal orState Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) regulations, localcodes, or ordinances that
apply to the intended use of the generator. Please consult a qualified
electrician, electrical inspector, orthe local agency having jurisdiction.
In some areas, generatorsare required to be registered with local
utility companies.
If the generator is used at a construction site, theremay be
additional regulations that must be observed.
Keep all cooling holes open and clear of debris, mud, water, etc.
Cooling holes are located on the front panel, rear panel, and the
bottom of the generator. If the cooling holes are blocked, the
generator may overheat and damagethe engine, inverter, or windings.
