SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
SEALINGWASHER
OILDRAIN PLUG
OILFILLER CAP/DIPSTICK
OILDRAIN PLUG COVER
Open the oil drain plug cover from the bottom of the generator.
Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the used oil.
Remove the oil drain plug and sealing washer and drainthe oil.
Reinstall the oil drain plug and a new sealing washer.Tighten the
plug securely.
Close the oil drain plug cover.
Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment.
If you change your own oil, please dispose of the used oil properly.
Put it in a sealed container, and take it to a recyclingc enter.Do not
discard it in a trash bin, dump iton the ground, or pour it down the
drain.
With the generator in a level position, fillwith the recommended oil
(see page ) to the upper limitof the oil filler neck.
Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
Reinstall the oil maintenance cover.
Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.
