Connecting the batterycharging cable (optional equipment):
WARNING:
Wash hands after handling.
DC output will vary according tothe position of the Eco-Throttle switch.
When the Eco-Throttle switch is turned to the ON position and the AC
output is not used, the DC current will be about one-third of the rated
current.

The DC receptacle should ONLY be used for charging 12-volt
automotive type batteries. The DC chargingoutput is not regulated.

to a battery that is installed in a vehicle, disconnect the vehicle
battery ground cable from thenegative ( ) battery terminal.
The battery gives off explosive
hydrogen gas during normal
operation.
A spark or flame can cause the
battery to explode with enough
force to kill or seriously hurtyou.
Wear protective clothing and a face
shield, or have a skilled mechanic
perform the batterymaintenance.
Battery posts, terminals,and related accessories contain
lead and lead components.
