Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
DRAINSCREW
Gasoline is highly flammable and
explosive.
You can be burned or seriously
injured when handling fuel.
Stop the engine and keep heat,
sparks, and flame away.
Handle fuel only outdoors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
Place a suitable gasoline container
below the carburetordrain hose.
After all the fuel has drained into the
container, tighten the drain screw
securely.
Loosen the carburetor drainscrew
and drain the gasoline from the
carburetorand tank.
Move the fuel valve to the ON
position.
Remove the sediment cup and empty it (see page ).
Reinstall the sediment cup.
Close the left side maintenance cover.
Use a screwdriver to loosen the latchand open the lef tside
maintenance cover.
