At the time of installation, your installer programmed a personal
This feature is intended for use when you are forced to disarm or arm the system under threat. When used, the system will act normally, but can silently notify the central station of your situation, if that service has been provided.
The Duress code is the same as vour user code. except that the last digit is
increased bv one.
For example: If the normal security code is “1 2 3 | 4”, |
the Duress security code is “1 2 3 5”. |

Important: • This code is useful only when connected to a central station.
•User codes that end in “9” (ex. 6349) cannot activate a duress alarm (i.e., 6350 is not a duress alarm code).
If your system supports “Quick Arming”, the | “#” key can be pressed in place of | |
the security code when arming the system. The security code is | always | |
required, however, when disarming the system. |
