Loading paper into the printer

CAUTION

Note

Paper should be loaded with the top down and the side-to-be printed facing forward. Always adjust the paper guides to prevent jams and skewing.

Attempting to print on paper that is wrinkled, folded, or damaged in any way may cause a jam to occur. See “Printer paper specifications.”

Always remove all paper from the paper input tray and straighten the stack when new paper is added. This helps prevent multiple sheets of paper from feeding through the printer at one time and reduces paper jams. See the sticker which you placed on the printer while setting up the hardware.
