To remove DIMMs, follow the instructions below:

CAUTION

Handling a DIMM chip (memory) without wearing a grounded, anti-static device can damage the DIMM chip.

1Unplug the printer.

2Open the printer memory door by gently pulling out and upward on the bottom edge until the door supports itself.

3Unlock the cam latches by pressing them outward.

4Grasp the DIMM chip on the top edge, gently pull straight up, and then remove the chip from the printer.

Note

Store the DIMM chip in an antistatic bag.
