Phase 4: Initialize and Verify the Router

| After you create or change a configuration (pages |

| router when you are ready to implement any changes you have made in |

N o t e | If you use the Quick Configuration utility to create or change a |
| configuration, you can boot the router as part of the process for exiting |
| from the utility. In this case it is unnecessary to also use the NCL Boot |
| command described in this subsection. |
| When you use the Configuration Editor to create or change a configura- |
| tion, use the NCL ‘‘boot’’ command to replace the former configuration |
| with the newly created one. |

You will then see the NCL prompt. This prompt matches the current system name. For example, if the system name is
DEFAULT_CONFIG
then the NCL prompt appears.
