HP BladeSystem p-Class Enhanced Server Blade Enclosures

Blade iLO signals are physically consolidated to an RJ-45 port on the server blade management module Option kit available for field upgrade of backplanes to existing, deployed blade enclosures

Each server blade enclosure is 6U and holds up to 16 HP ProLiant BL30p server blades (HP BladeSystem p-class blade sleeve is required for each pair of HP ProLiant BL30p server blades installed)

Types of interconnects available: GbE Interconnect Switches, GbE2 and CGESM Interconnect Switches with optional Fibre Channel pass through, Patch Panels or Patch Panel 2 with Fibre Channel pass through

HP BladeSystem p-Class power enclosures with power supplies not needed if using facility -48VDC ± 10% (Facility DC option kit required)

HP BladeSystem p-Class Power Distribution (only required with the 3U power enclosure)

Carries power from the power enclosure(s) to the server blade enclosures Three power distribution choices:

mini bus bars (support up to 3 blade enclosures)

scalable bus bars (support up to 5 blade enclosures) power bus box (supports a single blade enclosure)

New dual power input option kit allows support for two power enclosures on mini bus bars

Server blade enclosures, interconnects and power enclosures protected by a limited three year warranty with optional service uplifts available.

HP ProLiant BL30p Server Blade Limited Warranty includes 3 year Parts, 1 year Labor, 1-year on-site support.

NOTE: All ATA hard drives offered by HP carry a one year warranty regardless of the base system in which they are installed.

NOTE: Power requirements for a ProLiant BL p-Class system: 200V - 240V AC, 30 amp or facility DC -48V ± 10%.
