Configuration Steps
For a complete HP ProLiant BL30p server blade solution, do the following:
1.Select desired model, configuration and quantity of HP ProLiant BL30p server blades

2.Determine how many HP BladeSystem p-Class blade sleeves are required. Each p-Class blade sleeve holds two HP ProLiant BL30p server blades and one server blade enclosure holds up to eight sleeves.

3.Determine how many HP BladeSystem p-Class Enhanced Server Blade Enclosures are required. Each enhanced server blade enclosure can hold up to 16 HP ProLiant BL30p server blades.
NOTE: HP BladeSystem p-Class enhanced server blade enclosures are required to support HP ProLiant BL30p server blades. Enhanced server blade enclosures can be purchased with licenses for Rapid Deployment Pack:
HP BladeSystem p-Class enhanced server blade enclosure with 8 Rapid Deployment Pack licenses (281404-B22) Or
HP BladeSystem p-Class enhanced server blade enclosure with Rapid Deployment Pack trial (243564-B22) Or
HP BladeSystem p-Class server blade enclosure with the HP BladeSystem Management Suite which is delivered in a convenient to purchase pack that includes a single copy of Systems Insight Manager (SIM) and 8 licenses for each of the following products: Rapid Deployment Pack (RDP) Performance Management Pack (PMP) and the Vulnerability and Patch Management Pack (VPM).
