Overview tab
To get an overview of the host's newsfeed, inventory and networking data:
•From the HP Insight Control for RHEV Host data tabs, click the Overview tab. The Overview data is displayed:
Newsfeed
The Newsfeed table contains:
•Status—For message status descriptions, see “HP Insight Control for RHEV toolbar icons”.
•Message—Messages from HP Insight Control for RHEV on host events.
Host Information
The Host Information table contains:
•Server Name—The server name defined by the host operating system or defined in the iLO GUI.
•Product—The product within which the iLO processor is integrated.
•UUID—The universally unique identifier assigned when the host is manufactured.
•Serial Number—The server serial number, which is assigned when the host is manufactured.
•iLO Address—The network IP address of the iLO subsystem.
•iLO License—The level of licensed iLO functionality.
•iLO Firmware—The version and date of the installed iLO firmware.
•Host Power Status—ON, OFF.
•UID Light—The state of the UID (ON, OFF, FLASHING).
•CPUs—The number of populated CPU sockets in the host.
•Memory—The total amount of RAM in the host.
•NICs—The number of available network interfaces on the motherboard. This does not include PCIe cards or MEZZ cards.
•System ROM—Host BIOS type and date.
Enclosure Information
NOTE: The Enclosure data is available only for BL servers. For ML/DL servers, it is not displayed. The Enclosure data table contains:
•Enclosure Name—The name of the enclosure as defined in the OA interface.
•Rack Name—The name of the rack containing the enclosure.
•Fan Bays—The total number of fan bays, including empty bays.
•Power Supply Bays—The total number of power supply bays, including empty bays.
•Power Consumed—The total amount of power consumed by the enclosure.
Networking Information
The Networking data table contains:
•Network Name—Name of the network associated with this port (value can be the network name, “Unassigned”, or "Multiple Networks").
•Downlink—An internal port (enclosure midplane) on an Interconnect Module (blade switch or Virtual Connect) that directly connects to a server blade’s NIC port.
•Uplink—An external port on an Interconnect Module (blade switch or Virtual Connect module) that directly connects to an external, upstream network device.
