Before removing the USB board, follow these steps:
1.Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard dock (see Releasing the tablet from the keyboard dock on page 32).
5.Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 33.
6.Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37.
7.Remove the hinge assembly (see Hinge assembly on page 36.
Remove the USB board:
1.Disconnect the top ribbon cable (that routes to the HDMI board) from the board (1).
2.Disconnect the keyboard cable (2), and the smaller touchpad cable (3) from the board.
3.Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×5.0 screws (4) that secure the USB board to the dock.
4.Rotate the side of the board up and remove it from the dock (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the USB board.
