For Angled Ceilings: Be sure to orient the ceiling mounting plate (2) so that the two tabs are pointing toward the ceiling peak.

Unbundle the wires from the fan.
Note: Your Hunter fan comes with an optional pipe/ball assembly extension pipe. If you are hanging the fan on a ceiling higher than 10 feet tall and you would like to use the enclosed optional pipe/ball assembly, follow Steps 3.5 – 3.9.
