THREAD TENSION
Upper thread tension
Basic thread tension setting: “4”.
To increase the tension, turn the dial up to a higher number.
To reduce the tension, turn the dial to a lower number.
A. Normal thread tension - upper and bobbin thread
join in fabric.
B. Thread tension too loose - upper thread “loops”
on underside of fabric.
C. Thread tension too tight - bobbin thread “loops”
on top side of fabrics.
