To add a Virtual Server, do the following:

1.From the left-hand navigation bar, click Advanced Configuration Virtual Server Configuration to display the Virtual Server table.

You can enable or disable the Virtual Server function by selecting Enable or Disable from the pull-down menu at the top of the table.

Note: It is recommended that you click Enable and Apply before entering specific virtual server information.

2.To add a Virtual Server, click Add.

vVirtual Server: Enable or disable the Virtual Server on the LAN. Only an enabled server can be accessed through the Gateway from the Internet.

vGlobal Port: TCP or UDP port number used by the Gateway on the Internet-broadband port. This is the port number visible to users in the Internet, and is also known as the External Port Number.

vLocal IP: IP address of the server computer on the LAN.

vLocal Port: TCP or UDP port number used by the server computer on the LAN. Designated external port numbers are translated into this internal port number.

vProtocol: Specifies the TCP or UDP port number by selecting the appropriate protocol. Most well-known protocols have default port numbers defined by various standards.

vRemark: Type any comments about your server.

The port specified on the IP address specified for Virtual Server is exposed to the internet. It will not be protected by the internal firewall.
