CHARGE THE BATTERY

Whencharging your tablet batteryfor thefirst time, use your tablet untilthe battery is completely

empty,then charge it fullybefore using it again.This will help increaseyour battery's efficiencyand

life.After the first time, charge your battery when is lessthan 15% full.

1. Insertthe micro USB cable into your tablet'smicro USB port.

2. Insertthe other end into the AC power adapter, then connectit to a power outlet.

Note:Ittakes about four hours to fullycharge your tablet.

Conserve battery power

lTurnoff Wi-Fi when you aren't using it.

lLowerthe screen brightness.S ee Adjust the screen brightness (on page26).

lCloseapps that you aren't using. See Use the Recents screen (on page12).

lIfyour tablet is inactive,your tablet sleepsw iththe screen off (depending on thescreen

timeoutsetting. See Customize the lock screen (on page24)). Press towake it up.

Helpful tips

lForthe best battery performance, use yourtablet often

andmake sure that you chargeit at least once a month.

lUsethe power adapter that came with your tabletfor

charging.

lYoucan use your tablet while itis being charged.

However,to conserve your tablet's battery life,it isn't

recommended.
