4Press REC/ITR . The VCR starts copying the DVD, and COPY appears in the display window.

5When the copying is complete, press STOP or POWER twice.

Note

You must manually stop the recording, or your DVD/VCR may replay and record over and over.

If you stop DVD playback during the recording, VCR recording also stops.

Note

A DVD may have a regional code. The regional code for your home theater system is 1. If the regional code for the DVD does not match the regional code for your home theater system, you cannot play the DVD.

If you have blocked movie ratings with the parental controls and the rating for the DVD is blocked, you must enter the four-digit password to unblock and watch the DVD.

To play a DVD:

1Make sure that the power cord is plugged into a power outlet.

2Press CD/DVD on the remote control or DVD/VCR on the front of your home theater system to select DVD mode. READING appears in the display window, and the DVD image appears on the TV screen.

3Press AUDIO to select the audio mode.

4Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray, insert a DVD into the tray, then press OPEN/CLOSE to close the tray.

5If playback does not start immediately, press PLAY .

6If a DVD menu opens, press , , , or to select the option you want, then press MEMORY/ENTER.
