Using parental controls

The parental control feature restricts television programs from being viewed on your television. It helps prevent children from watching violent or sexual scenes that you may deem harmful.

Restriction of television programs includes two ratings that contain information about the program, the MPAA rating and the TV Parental Guidelines. The MPAA rating is restricted by age. The TV Parental Guidelines are restricted by age and content.
