refer to the product or its corresponding Speci cations list to determine
which of the following sections or items within the sec tions apply to the
enclosed product. For example, not all of the LEDs dened in the status
reference chart may be featured on your media converte r.
Auto MDI
Auto MDI (medium dependent interface) detection alleviates concer ns
about cabling conguration by allowing direct co nnection to a workstation,
switch, LAN card, hub or other network device s when connecting between
RJ-45 ports.
