Check, Cancel And Change Programmes
1When the DVD timer indicator lights on the front display
panel
Press TIMER #, then press 1.
When “ ” lights on the front display panel and the DVD
timer indicator also lights up on the front display panel.
Press 1.
When “SAT #” lights on the front display panel
Press SAT #, then press 1.
2Press PROG to access the Programme Check screen, then
press rtw e to select “VHS” or “DVD”.
To return to the previous screen after you check the programme,
press PROG again.
To cancel the programme
Press rt to select a programme to be cancelled, then press
CANCEL.
3Press rt to select the programme, then press ENTER. The
programme screen appears.
4Change the settings of the desired recording options as
required.
Refer to steps 510 in “Manual Timer Programming” (pg.31).
5Press PROG to complete timer correction. The normal screen
resumes.
6For SHOWVIEW, Manual or On-Disc Timer Programming
(DVD deck only)
Press TIMER #.
For Automatic Satellite Programme Recording
Press SAT # for 2 seconds or more.
The DVD timer indicator also lights up on the front display panel and
the VHS deck is automatically selected. When the VHS deck is in
timer standby mode, the unit is automatically turned off.
NOTE:
When you check, cancel and change a On-Disc Timer Programming,
be sure to insert the On-Disc Timer programmed disc.

Programme’s information on the front display panel
You can check the details of the programmes on the front
display panel. However, it is not possible to cancel or change the
programme’s setting.
APress PROG.
“NEW PROG” or “P-1” (if 8 programmes have already been set)
appears.
BPress rt until the desired programme number (“P-1” to “P-
8”) appears, then press ENTER.
CPress e.
Each time you press e, the indication changes as follows (the
settings in parentheses are examples):
Date (“DATE 08.03SU”) ] Start time (“ON 11:00”) ] Stop time
(“OFF 11:30”) ] Channel (“PR 1”) ] Weekly/Daily (“MO-FR
DAILY”) ] Programme number (“P-1”) and recording mode (“SP”)
] (Back to the beginning)
DPress PROG to complete checking.
The normal display resumes.
