MAKE CONNECTIONS

Connect the player’s AUDIO/VIDEO OUT connector to

the recorder’s AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector.

 

For HR-E639EE Owners . . .

 

When connecting to a monaural recorder, connect

 

your recorder's AUDIO L IN/OUT connector to the

 

AUDIO IN/OUT connector on the monaural recorder.

For HR-E539EE Owners . . .

When connecting to a Hi-Fi recorder, connect your recorder's AUDIO IN/OUT connector to the AUDIO L IN/OUT connector on the Hi-Fi recorder.

SET RECORDING DECK’S

INPUT MODE

Set to AUX. With this video recorder, press NUMBER

Key "0" or TV PROG.."F-AU"* will appear instead of a

2 channel number.

* "AU" will appear with HR-E539EE.

START SOURCE PLAYER

Engage its Record mode.

IMPORTANT:

To edit, both the player and the recorder must be of the same colour system. Press your recorder's COLOUR SYSTEM button to select the appropriate colour system.

NOTES:

All necessary cables can be obtained from your dealer.

NTSC tapes being played back in the NTSC [PAL mode (p. 25) cannot be dubbed to another recorder.

When you dub an NTSC tape using your recorder as the playback deck, select NTSC 3.58 (or NTSC 4.43) with the COLOUR SYSTEM button. (p. 24)
