MOISTURECONDENSATION

Moisturein the air will condense on the recorder when you move
itfrom a cold place toa warm place, or under extremely humid
conditions—justas water droplets form on the surface of a glass
filledwith cold liquid. Moisture condensation on the head drum
willcause damage to the tape. In conditions where condensation
mayoccur, keep the recorder’spower turned on for a few hours to
letthe moisture dry.

Howtousetheremotecontrol

Theremote control can operate most of your recorder’s functions,
aswell as basic functions of TV, cable box, satellite receiver,and
DVDsets of JVC and other brands.
Pointthe remote control toward the sensor window on the
targetcomponent.
Themaximum operating distance of the remote control is about
8m.
NOTES:
Wheninserting the batteries, b e sure to insert in the correct
directionsas indicated under th e battery cover.
Ifthe remote control does notwork properly, remove its
batteries,wait for a few seconds, replace the batteries and then
tryagain.

Video heads cleaning

Usea dry cleaning cassett e — TCL-2UX— when:
Rough,poor picture appears while a tape isplayed back.
Thepicture is unclear or no picture appears.
“USECLEANING CASSETTE” appears on the screen (only with
“O.S.D.”set to “ON”).
