PressMENU on the remote control. Press
rtto place the pointer next to “INITIAL
SET”,then press OK or e.
BAccessLanguage Select screen
Pressrt to place the pointer next to “LANGUAGE”, then press
OKor e.
CSelectlanguage
Pressrt to place the pointer next to the
languageof your choice (English or
Russian),then press OK or e.
PressMENU to return to normal screen.

Clock Setting

Pressrt to place the pointer next to
“CLOCKSET”, then press OK or e.
CSettime, date and year
Pressrt until the desired time appears,
thenpress OK or e.Setthedateandyear
inthe same way.
●Holdingrt changesthetimein
30-minuteintervals, or changes the date
in15-day intervals.
DStartclock
PressMENU and normal screen appears.
NOTE:
Ifthe year digits are automatically cleared, it is possible that you
haveinput February 29th in a non-leap year. Input the correct
data.
Tomake corrections any time during the process
PressOK or erepeatedly until the item youwant to change
blinks,then press rt.
Playback

Basic Playback

ALoada cassette
Makesure the window side is up, the rear label side is facing you
andthe arrow on the front of the cassette is pointing towards the
recorder.
●Donot apply too much pressure when inserting.
●Therecorder turns on, and the counter on the on-screen display
isreset, automatically.
●Selectthe appropriate colour system with “PAL/MESECAM” and
“NTSC”in Function settings.
●Ifthe cassette’s record safety tab has been removed, playback
beginsautomatically.
BStartplay back
PressPLAY (4).
ATTENTION
Inthe search, still, slow-motion or frame-by-frame playback
mode,
●thepicture will be distorted.
●thenoise bars will appear.
●theremay be a loss of colour.

●Ifyou press and hold REW (3)orFF (5)formorethan
2seconds, simply releasing it cancels the picture search, and
normalplayback resumes.
Picturesearch at variable speed (including slow-motion)
Presswor erepeatedly.
●PressPLAY (4) to resume normal playback.
●Eachtime you press wor e, the playback speed changes. To
decreasethe speed during picture search, press the opposite
directionbutton repeatedly.
●Duringstill picture, press and hold eto start forward slow
motionplayback. When you release the button, still picture
resumes.During still picture, holding PAU SE (9) formore than
2seconds also starts forward slow motion playback. If you
pressPAU SE (9) again, still picture resumes.
