Editing from a Camcorder

connect up Connect the VCR and the camcorder with either of the following methods:

AIf the camcorder has NO S-VIDEOoutput connector...

... connect the camcorder’s AUDIO/VIDEO OUT connectors to the VCR’s front panel AUDIO/VIDEO input connectors.

BIf the camcorder has an S-VIDEOoutput connector...

... connect the camcorder’s S-VIDEO OUT and AUDIO OUT connectors to the VCR’s front panel S-VIDEOand AUDIO input connectors.

•When using a monaural camcorder, connect its AUDIO OUT connector to the AUDIO L input connector on your VCR.

set vcr’s input mode Press AUX and/or PR so that F-1(for AUDIO/VIDEO input connectors) or S-1(for S-VIDEOand AUDIO input connectors) appears in the place of a preset position number.

set edit mode See Picture Control on page 33.

start camcorder Engage the camcorder’s PLAY mode.

start recorder Press Ton the VCR.
