Hi-Fi Audio Recording Level
Control
Your VCR allows manual adjustment of the Hi-Fi audio
recording level. Although the preset audio recording level is
satisfactory for normal recording, if the sound you are going to
record is too loud or too low, adjust the audio recording level
while referring to the VCR's audio level meters.
TURN ON THE VCR

Press POWER.

Press MENU as many times as necessary.

Press CH5 or TIME SCAN 5 to place the arrow
next to “FUNCTION SET”, then press OK.

next to “HI-FI REC LEVEL”, then press OK.

ADJUST AUDIO RECORD-

Press FF or REW.
To move the on-screen's audio levels by one division
of the scale, press FF or REW briefly for 5 times in
succession. To move the audio levels faster, keep FF
or REW presssed.
Adjust the recording level so that the audio level
meters reach from 0dB to 4dB at the maximum sound
volume.

Noise will increase if the recording level is too low, while
