EDITING (VCR DECK) (cont.)

Dubbing

(from DVD to VCR)

You can dub selected scenes from the DVD disc to a cassette, starting and stopping wherever you wish.

However, it is not possible to dub the copy-protected disc.

In such case, “ERROR” appears on the front display panel.

A Load a cassette and place a disc.

 

For the VCR deck

 

 

Insert

cassette with the record safety tab intact.

● Turn on the TV and select the VCR

channel

(or AV

mode).

For the DVD deck

B Place the disc in the disc tr

C PressOPEN/CLOSE (x) on the DVD dec

disc tray.

B Prepare the VCR deck for dubbing.

A PressVCR.

BPressSP/EP to select recording speed.

CSearch for the point where you

by pressingPLAY (4),FF (5) REWor(3) then pressSTOP (8).

C Prepare the DVD deck for dubbing.

A PressDVD.

B Search for the point where you by pressingPLAY (4),FF (5) REWor(3).

C PressPAUSE (9) to pause playbac

start point.

D Start dubbing.Press and hold REC (7), thenPLAY (4press)on the

Remote.

● “DUB” lights on the front display panel.

E End dubbing.

Press STOP (8).

●Be sure toSTOPpress(8) while the VCR ind the unit.

●If you STOPpress(8) EJECTor (x) with the DVD selected, the dubbing stopped recorded.

NOTES:

●You cannot start dubbing when the sca progressive mode. Set it to pgthe.84)inter

●Set“ON SCREEN GUIDE” to “OFF” ( pg. 83) if you d want to record the on-screen display dubbing.
