Regular Play

When the power is already on, you can use this basic procedure:

1. Press the 0 (EJECT) button.

2. When the cassette holder opens, put the cassette in, with the exposed part of the tape down, toward the base of the System.

If the cassette holder does not open, turn the Unit off, then back on and press the 0 (EJECT) button again.

3. Close the holder gently until it clicks. 4. Press the TAPE ` button.

The tape is played in the direction shown by the Tape Direction indicator.

Reverse Mode

You can set a tape to play just one side, both sides in succession, or both sides continuously.

Press the REVERSE MODE button on the Re- mote Control.

The indicator changes with each press of the button as shown.
