Using the Timers

When the specified time passes, the main unit
automatically turns off.
Press .
• Each time you press , the time display
(in minutes) toggles as follows.
Example: To set the sleep timer to 60 minutes
NOTE
When you set the sleep timer, the display window
automatically dims.
Before the clock has been set (While "0:00" is
flashing), when you press , "CLOCK
ADJUST!" appears.
• Press repeatedly to select the time again.
• With the sleep timer activated, press once.
You can use the recording timer function to record
FM/AM broadcasts or sound from other equipment
to an MD or cassette tape.
You can enter up to three timer settings in total for
the recording timer and the playback timer
( page 41).
NOTE
Timer settings remain unchanged until the timer is
replaced by new setting.
