consumer product, so that you, our valued customer can con fidently
use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical a ppliance that
you use be operated in a sensible fashion wi th due care and attention
placed on the following important operat ing instructions.
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook
Power Drive Blender
• Carefully read all instructions before
operating the blender for the first time and
save for future reference.
• Remove and safely di scard any packagin g
material and promotional labels before using
the blender for the first time.
• To eliminate a choki ng hazard for young
children, remove an d safely discard t he
protective cover fitted to th e power plug of
this blender.
• Do not place the blen der near the edg e of a
bench or table during operation. Ensure the
surface is level, c lean and free of water a nd
other substances. Vibration during operation
may cause the ble nder to move.
• Do not use the blend er on a sink drain bo ard.
• Do not place the blen der on or near a hot
gas or electric bu rner, or where it coul d
touch a heated oven.
• Handle the blender and attachments
with care – remember t he blades are razor-
sharp and shou ld be kept out of the reach
of children.
• Always ensure the b lender is compl etely
assembled before operating. The blender
will not operate unless properly assembled.
• Do not use attachm ents other than tho se
provided with the blender.
• Do not attempt to operate t he blender by
any method other tha n those describ ed in
this booklet.
• Always secure the bl ade assembl y onto
the blender jug b efore attaching to t he
motor base.
• Ensure the Speed Co ntrol Dial is in th e ‘OFF’
position and th e blender is switc hed off
at the power outlet and t he power cord
is unplugged b efore attaching th e
blender jug.
• Always operate the blender with the blender
jug lid in positi on.
• Keep fingers, han ds, knives and oth er utensils
away from moving bla des.
• Do not place hands o r fingers into the
blender jug unl ess the motor and bl ades
have come to a complete sto p. Ensure the
Speed Control Dia l is in the ‘OFF’ positi on
and the blender i s switched off at th e power
outlet and the power co rd is unplugged
before removing the lid from the blender.
• Ensure the motor and t he blades have
completely stopped before disassembling.
Ensure the Speed Co ntrol Dial is in th e ‘OFF’
position and th e blender is switc hed off
at the power outlet and t he power cord is
unplugged from t he power outlet before
attempting to move th e blender, when
not in use, if left una ttended and befo re
disassembling, cleaning or storing.
• Care should be taken w hen removing the
food from the blend er jug by ensurin g the
motor and the blade s have completely
stopped before disassembling.
