Ensure the Speed Co ntrol Dial is tur ned to
the ‘OFF’ position, th e appliance i s switched
off at the power outlet a nd unplugge d,
before removing the li d from the blende r jug.
The blender jug s hould then be un locked
from the motor base an d the food carefull y
removed before attempt ing to remove the
blade assembly.
• Do not operate the blender continuously for
periods longer than 1 minute on any setting
or if processing a h eavy load. Non e of the
recipes in this bo ok are considered a h eavy
load. If the blender is operated continuously
for too long, it shou ld be allowed to rest for 3 0
minutes before recommencing.
• Do not process hot or boi ling liquid s – allow
liquids to cool befo re placing into the
blender jug.
• Always switch off th e blender and
disconnect from t he power outlet before
changing accessories or approaching parts
that move in use.
• Do not move the blender w hilst in operat ion.
• Do not leave the blend er unattende d when
in use.
• Do not place any part o f the blender in a
microwave oven.
• Do not wash any part s of the blender in a
dishwasher.
• Do not place anythi ng on top of the motor
base and/or blende r jug when the lid i s on or
off, when in use and w hen stored.
• Do not allow childre n to use the blende r
without supervision.
• Care should be taken w hen handling t he
sharp cuttin g blades, empt ying the blende r
jug and during cl eaning.
• Keep the blender cl ean. Follow the cl eaning
instructions provided in this book.
Important Safeguards For All Electrical Appliances • Fully unwind the powe r cord before use.
• Connect only to a 230V o r 240V power outlet.
• Do not let the power cord han g over the
edge of a bench or tabl e, touch hot surface s
or become knotted.

cleaning instructions.

examination and/or repair.
