Checking the oil level

Changing the engine oil

nPark the sweeper on a level surface.

nCheck air pressure and adjust pressure as required. Air pressure for front and rear wheels = 6 bar

nPark the sweeper on a level surface.

çPull out the dipstick.

nWipe the dipstick clean and re-insert it in the filler hole.

nPull out the dipstick again and check the result.

The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX marks. If the oil level is below MIN – top up with oil.

If the oil level is above MAX – drain off the surplus.

nInsert the dipstick back into the filler hole.

nPour engine oil type SAE 15W40 into the hole for the dipstick.

Caution! Danger to the environment from engine

oil

After carrying out an oil change, ensure that the waste oil is passed to an appropriate collection point or official disposal company.

Caution,

nRun the engine until it reaches its normal operating tem- perature.

nMake sure the sweeper is standing on a level surface.

nOpen the unit cover.

nPlace a drip pan under the engine.

çHold the end of the drain tube over the drip pan and let the old oil run out.

nClose off the end of the drain tube again.

nPour engine oil into the filler hole. Capacity = 1.1 litres

nCheck the oil level with the dipstick – see “Checking the oil level”.

nWipe up any oil spillage and dispose of the waste oil appropriately.
