Connecting the CD Player (DP-K1000 – sold separately)

z When connecting a CD player, read the instruction manual for the DP-K1000 also.

z Ensure that all the cords are securely connected. Loose or incomplete connections may result in noise interference or no sound at all.

DP-K1000

1CD IN (COAX)

Use the coaxial cable supplied with the DP-K1000 to connect the [DIGITAL OUT COAXIAL] terminal on the DP-K1000 to the [CD IN (COAX)] terminal on the rear panel of the R-K1000.

2SYSTEM CONTROL

Use the system control cable supplied with the DP-K1000 to connect the [SYSTEM CONTROL] terminal on the DP-K1000 to the [SYSTEM CONTROL] terminal on the rear panel of the R-K1000.

z To connect a CD player other than the DP-K1000 to the R-K1000, use an analog connection to connect the audio output terminal on the CD player to the [AUX IN] terminal on the rear panel of the R-K1000. When using a digital connection, connect the optical digital output terminal on the CD player to the [DIGITAL IN 1 (OPT)] or [DIGITAL IN 2 (OPT)] terminal on the rear panel of the R-K1000. When connecting from a coaxial output terminal on the CD player, use the [DIGITAL IN 3 (COAX)] terminal on the R-K1000.
