The R-K1000 automatically optimizes the audio settings for your room layout and system location.

You simply set up the microphone supplied with the R-K1000 in the listening position and then start up the Room Equalizer.

Realistic audio playback with near-original sound
Supreme EX

Original Kenwood audio enhancement technology that reproduces the high-bandwidth component in the original sound produces incredibly realistic audio that restores almost all the nuances of the original performance.

This reproduces high-range bands of 20 kHz and higher from audio CD or digital input.

It also reproduces the high-range bands lost through data compression when you connect to the CD player (DP-K1000 – sold separately) and play audio files (MP3/WMA/AAC).

Superb sound quality even at low volumes
Clear A Mode

The R-K1000 uses the “Clear A” mode to provide superb rich sound quality with excellent balance even at low volumes. This mode is ideal when you are sitting very close to the set or in situations where you want to keep the volume low, such as late-night listening.

Convenient and Easy to Use
System Control Function

The system control connection between the R-K1000 and the CD player (DP-K1000 – sold separately) enables you to turn both units on and off jointly and use the R-K1000 remote control for basic operations on the CD player.
