Special note for installations with gas cooktop:

l If a single downdraft vent is to be installed next to a gas cooktop, the
downdraft vent must use the interior mounted vent motor only.
l If a gas cooktop is to be located between two downdraft vents, an
exterior vent motor and ‘7” adapter kit must be used.
l T’ adapter kits (Black 4175456, White 4319251, Almond 4319252) are
available from your KitchenAid dealer.
