An enclosure for an LP gas fuel tank is to be ventilated by openings at both the top and lower levels of the enclosure.
If converting to LP gas these vents are to be in the enclosure:

Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
If codes permit and a separate ground wire is used, it is recommended that a qualified electrician determine that the ground path is adequate.
Check with a qualified electrician if you are not sure whether the infrared sear burner is properly grounded.

Recommended Ground Method
The outdoor infrared sear burner, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code ANSI/ NFPA 70, or Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1.
