Computer/connectivity problemsYou cannot take a
picture or video
■Turn the camera off, then on again.
■Press the Shutter button all the way (page8).
■Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or insert a new
one (page2).
■Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
■Transfer pictures to the computer (page36), delete
pictures from the camera (page24), switch image storage
locations (page19), or insert a card with available
memory (page7).
Picture orientation is
not accurate
■Set the Orientation Sensor (page 20).
Flash does not fire ■Check flash setting, and change as needed (page14).
Battery life is short ■Recharge the battery fully or insert a new one (page2).
Camera displays an
error code
■Press the Shutter button all the way (page8).
■Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery fully (page2).
■Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
