Computer/connectivity problems
You cannot take a
picture or video
Turn the camera off, then on again.
Press the Shutter button all the way (page8).
Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or insert a new
one (page2).
Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
Transfer pictures to the computer (page36), delete
pictures from the camera (page24), switch image storage
locations (page19), or insert a card with available
memory (page7).
Picture orientation is
not accurate
Set the Orientation Sensor (page 20).
Flash does not fire Check flash setting, and change as needed (page14).
Battery life is short Recharge the battery fully or insert a new one (page2).
Camera displays an
error code
Press the Shutter button all the way (page8).
Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery fully (page2).
