On/off light/power button

Status	Cause

Power light blinks blue.	Camera is starting up or shutting down.

Power light glows steady blue.	Camera is on; ready to take a picture or video.

Power light does not turn on	Camera is not turned on. Press the on/off button.
and the camera does not work.
and the camera does not work.	Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery (page 2).
