Taking pictures and videos

The camera stops taking pictures when you release the Shutter button, when the pictures are taken, or when there is no more storage space.

Changing picture-taking settings

You can change settings to get the best results from your camera:

1Press the Menu button. (Some settings are unavailable in some modes.)

2Press to highlight a setting, then press the OK button.

3Choose an option, then press the OK button.

4Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

Setting	Icon	Options
Custom Exposure Mode	P	Program (default)
Choose a preferred capture	ASM	Aperture Priority
mode. (See Custom, page 11.)		Shutter Priority
This setting remains until you		Manual

		NOTE: To use the Jog dial, see page 14.
Self Timer		On
Turn the Self Timer on or off.		Off (default)
This setting remains until you		NOTE: To cancel the Self Timer before a picture is taken,
take the picture, turn the Mode		press the Menu button, then turn the Self Timer off.
